When you buy an asset you receive a licence to use it. Copyright stays with the creator. This page sets out the default licence. Where a product page states its own licence, that one wins for that product.
Standard License
Included with every purchase unless stated otherwise.
You may:
- Use the asset in commercial and non-commercial games and projects, with no cap on revenue or units sold.
- Use it in an unlimited number of your own projects.
- Modify, recolour, remix and adapt the asset to fit your project.
- Use it in client work, provided the asset is delivered as part of a finished project and not as a standalone file.
- Use it in screenshots, trailers and marketing for your project.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense or give away the asset in its original or a substantially similar form.
- Include it in an asset pack, template, or marketplace listing of your own.
- Use it as part of a logo or trademark, or otherwise claim exclusive rights to it.
- Upload it to AI training datasets, or use it to train generative models.
- Use it in projects that are unlawful, hateful, or depict the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Distribute it in a form where end users can extract the source asset as a usable standalone file (for example, an unprotected asset dump).
Extended License
Where offered on a product page, the Extended License adds:
- Use in products where the asset itself is the primary value — game templates, asset packs, or tools you sell on.
- Use in merchandise for sale (prints, apparel, physical goods).
- Redistribution to your own team or clients as editable source files.
Even under the Extended License you may not resell the asset unmodified as a standalone product.
Free assets
Assets offered free of charge carry the Standard License unless their product page says otherwise. Attribution is appreciated but not required unless stated.
Credit
Attribution is never required under the Standard License, but crediting creators helps them keep making assets — and we like seeing what you build.
Termination
Breaching this licence terminates it immediately, and you must stop using and delete the asset. Projects already shipped in good faith before termination are not retroactively affected.
